Jakarta, 25 February 2022 – Square Resources Holdings Singapore Pte Ltd. has continued its partnership with Indonesia Indah Foundation to educate and empower people in Indonesia to become agents of change for the environment.

As part of its corporate social responsibility program, Square Resources Holding Singapore Pte Ltd. has partnered with the Indonesian non-profit organization, Indonesia Indah Foundation (IIF), which works towards making Indonesia more environmentally sustainable through education, awareness, conservation, and disaster relief programs.

Square Resources Holding Singapore Pte Ltd. has been involved in activities organized by IIF since 2019 when the company first started supporting Hari Bersih Indonesia, IIF’s annual national-scale clean-up day to raise awareness of littering and waste problems in Indonesia.

In its fourth year of partnership, Square Resources Holding Singapore Pte Ltd. is committed to supporting IIF in the organization’s efforts to groom more environmentally sustainable citizens across Indonesia.

“IIF does an outstanding job in disseminating an important issue, regarding environmental sustainability, in layman terms to empower the grassroots level to take preliminary steps towards caring for the environment,” said Staffan Ever, Managing Director of Square Resources Holding Singapore Pte Ltd. “We take pride in supporting IIF’s programs throughout the years. It is a great pleasure to witness their growth and multiplied impact.”

Angela Jelita Richardson, journalist and environmental activist, founded Indonesia Indah Foundation in 2019, with a commitment to educating people in Indonesia on environmental sustainability. Richardson is thrilled to continue the partnership with Square Resources Holding Singapore Pte Ltd. as one of IIF’s Foundation Partners.

“We are excited to have Square Resources Holdings continue their support of our work in Indonesia,” Richardson says. “With their support, we will be able to distribute our environmental sustainability module books from our ‘Saya Pahlawan Lingkungan’ (I’m an Environmental Hero) program to participating national schools in Greater Jakarta. Moreover, their support will help us plant more mangrove trees, reach more people through our national clean-up day, and drive our plant-based advocacy work as a means of living a sustainable lifestyle.”

IIF organizes regular events to educate and provide the framework to inspire people to become agents of change for the environment. Square Resources Holding Singapore Pte Ltd. will also be supporting these events, whether virtual, hybrid or offline, through this partnership.
